5e. The Agent/Franchise Approval Process

Our intention is to successfully guide you through the review process. This is the first step to starting your own business. The process begins with our initial phone call or email by you to the company.. During this call we will both have the opportunity to learn more about each other. You will learn more about our industry and our company. This process takes time and is designed to help each of us decide if there is a good fit.

Franchise Opportunities Brochure

You will want to carefully review the information in this brochure as it contains details of our business model, our franchise development program and the best practices of our company.

Informational Call / Interview

Once you have read through the introductory information and have completed your application, we will arrange a telephone interview. You will want to prepare a list of questions for us, as this will be your opportunity to learn more before moving further along in the ownership process.

Due Diligence

Because we want you to be fully informed, we will ask you to contact some of our current agents & franchisees to discuss their experiences in our agency/franchise system. We will help schedule these calls for you following the completion of our telephone interview. After your due diligence calls, we will set up another call with you to discuss your reactions to, and impressions of, your discussions with our current franchisees and answer any additional questions. We will then set a date for completing the interview and exploratory process.

Final Stage of the Application Process

If you would like to join us as a agent or franchisee after completing your investigations, we are required by law to go through a formal process that involves providing you with a copy of the Agency agreement and all of the related documentation that you will be required to sign in order to become a agent. As part of this process you are required to acknowledge a number of details about the agency that you have just completed, and to sign a receipt acknowledging your acceptance of all of the sales documents. We cannot legally appoint you as an agent until we have all of these items completed, signed and returned to us.

Territory Assignment (Franchisees)

Congratulations! If you have completed the process so far, you are now a LINK agent. The ageccy agreement will provide you with a general area for your to begin working in.

Pre-Opening Support

The LINK training program has been carefully designed by successful agents in this area. You will undergo a comprehensive training program in all aspect of the business. Training will involve discussions, hands-on training with our proprietary system, a thorough overview of marketing promotions and programs, field training with some test customers, instruction on sales and financial guidelines. Also, you will also receive the LINK Operations Manuals for your business. These manuals will become your daily reference guide and a training aid for you. Our training program reviews the following areas:
